Zoetrope es una experiencia teatral híbrida e innovadora que entrelaza cine y teatro para ahondar en el panorama político de Puerto Rico. Inspirada en cartas reales entre Lares y Manhattan, la obra sigue la historia de Severino, un empleado militar de correos que emigra a Nueva York en los años 50 en busca de una vida mejor. Luego cuenta la historia de su viuda, la hermana de ésta, el hijo de ambos, el dramaturgo René Marqués y el Grito de Lares. A través de una narración fragmentada que mezcla flashbacks, cortes paralelos y vídeo en directo, Zoótropo da vida a generaciones de una familia trabajadora marcada por el amor, la política y la pérdida, y ofrece una visión caleidoscópica del desarraigo y la memoria.
Presentada en inglés y español, con sobretítulos en ambos idiomas.
